Soundboks

We helped transform speaker company SOUNDBOKS from a local product brand to a global lifestyle brand. Among a lot of different things, we positioned the client through +100 PR clippings across six markets.

SOUNDBOKS is the company behind the world’s most powerful Bluetooth speaker. It’s a Danish brand with a global presence and a young, dedicated world-wide community. 

That wasn’t always the case, though. When we started working with SOUNDBOKS in 2017, the company’s brand efforts focused solely on product features. The company was initially created with a very specific challenge in mind: How do we create a speaker that is physically able to survive the wear and tear of a Danish music festival? That was the outset, and it set the tone for the early brand messaging as well. SOUNDBOKS was, for better or worse, a hardware brand for the few. 

SOUNDBOKS, however, had potential for more. Over the coming years, we helped them become a global lifestyle brand with a major community. We did this by telling the stories behind the product and the way it’s being used, tapping into the experiences, the feelings and the friendships that SOUNDBOKS deliver the soundtrack to. We helped re-position the company and make them synonymous with the fun and freedom of being young, at a global scale. All of this took place during a long and close partnership, spanning over multiple years, markets and deliverables.

Our work resulted in +100 PR articles across six different countries. We also developed and handled events and brand activations including the brand activation concept Prøv Dig Frem, ran social media profiles, produced film series, and contributed with ongoing strategic advising.
