Oktogrid is a Danish company that has developed a never-before-seen solution that helps the electricity sector ensure its legacy assets, specifically transformers, operate safely. The solution has the potential to help electricity grids operate more reliably on a global level.
Oktogrid needed guidance on how to best communicate its product offering to Transmission-Service-Operators (TSOs) and Distribution-Service-Operators (DSOs). The goal was to develop a new brand and communications strategy, visual identity and website.
Oktogrid being a newcomer in an industry of giants put them in a difficult spot - but this also became a source of inspiration. As we looked into the industry, we found a discrepancy between how suppliers communicate and the mental state of decision-makers. This offered a golden opportunity for a challenger like Oktogrid to stand out and show that they understand the issues that DSOs and TSOs are experiencing.
The result was a distinct brand strategy, visual identity and communications plan that showcases the innovation and a wish to grab the individuals that operate at DSOs and TSOs by the hand and help them change the industry from within. After the strategy process, PONDER is now helping Oktogrid gain coverage in Danish and international press, focusing on increasing the company’s visibility through industry outlets - so far resulting in +50 clippings across several markets.
At the same time, we are supporting the brand in gaining an active and intentional presence on LinkedIn. In just a few months, we saw a 30% increase in page visits and a 40% increase in followers from the target audience.
