The BI industry is full of innovation, except when it comes to branding. Safe visuals, generic identities, and overly complex language have left most Business Intelligence companies looking indistinguishable. Tandem set out to change that.
At the heart of the new identity is the logo: seven pixels forming two interlocking gears. The mark symbolises structure in data, collaboration in process, and a nod to Tandem’s two founders whose shared vision set everything in motion.
The visual identity takes cues from early digital aesthetics, but reimagined through a contemporary lens. It challenges the notion that data and tools like Power BI must look dull, dusty, or overly complex. Instead, it shows how a bold and thoughtful design language can make complex insights engaging and accessible - turning something often seen as dry into something dynamic and inspiring.
