Ø.12
Ø12 is a daytime bistro in the heart of Copenhagen, built around the idea that brunch should feel both familiar and a little elevated. With an ambition to serve world-class brunch locally, the menu leans on elevated classics, thoughtful details and the kind of food that leaves you nourished, satisfied and ready for the rest of the day.
Enete and Kasper lived in London, where they spent years exploring the city’s brunch scene. Somewhere between countless avocado toasts and eggs benedicts, they started taking notes on what makes an experience memorable – and eventually decided to create their own. This time in Copenhagen.
Ø12 is a daytime bistro on Øster Farimagsgade 12B in central Copenhagen. Built around the idea of serving world-class brunch in a local setting, it focuses on elevated classics without overcomplicating them: quality coffee, comforting breakfasts, eggs benedict, pancakes and shakshuka. Classics are classics for a reason. Ø12 makes them exceptionally well.
PONDER was brought in to shape the brand from the inside out, starting with the thinking behind the experience itself. That process led to three defining ideas: nourish, surprise and delight. Nourish speaks to food that leaves you energised. Surprise captures the little moments that make the experience feel special. Delight is the feeling guests leave with when everything has been thought through.
From there, we developed the visual identity. The logotype puts the Danish Ø at the centre in a quirky serif that gives the brand an elevated but approachable character, while the period adds a small dose of personality and nods to the name’s original meaning. The supergraphic extends the logo into a more expressive visual element, flexible enough to be dialled up or down depending on the context.
Orange became the defining colour, chosen for its warmth and sense of familiarity. The result is an identity that feels approachable, confident and rooted in everyday comfort.
