NODI
Power is money. NODI is a battery for the people, giving homes and small businesses more control over what they pay for power. We gave the brand a complete refresh, from positioning and strategy to tone of voice and visual identity. Making smart energy feel less like infrastructure and more like an everyday life hack.
Advanced battery technology has traditionally been built for data centres, large corporations and people willing to deal with complicated installations. NODI takes a different approach: smart energy storage made for everyday life. A battery you can plug into the wall, place in your home and let do its thing.
In just eight weeks, we built the NODI brand from the ground up, covering everything from positioning and brand strategy to tone of voice and visual identity. The ambition was to make an inherently technical product feel remarkably simple, while creating a brand with enough character to define a new category.
Instead of leaning into the familiar codes of energy and tech, we approached NODI as a lifestyle brand. The product is designed to be seen rather than hidden away, so the identity needed to feel equally at home in people’s living spaces: premium but approachable, technical underneath but effortless on the surface.
The visual identity starts with the product itself. The clean, rounded wordmark mirrors the physical design of the battery, creating a direct connection between object and brand. That same geometry carries into the typography, where selected words are enclosed in rounded forms. Used across short, punchy headlines, the device turns language into a recognisable brand asset, allowing even a simple message like Power is Money to feel unmistakably NODI.
The result is a brand built around the same idea as the product: advanced technology without the complexity. Plug in. Pay less.
